Fourth Project Steering Committee meeting and Second Tripartite Review

The project is organizing its fourth Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, on 10 and 11 December 2007. The event will be followed by the second meeting of the Tri-Partite Review (TPR) on 12 December 2007.

All ten Nile riparians have nominated two PSC members. The committee directs project implementation, monitors progress, and reviews and endorses project workplans. It further provides regular advice to FAO and the Italian Cooperation on all project implementation matters.

In order to ensure close cooperation and coordination with all NBI activities, the PSC reports regularly to the Nile Council of Ministers for Water Affaires (Nile COM) through the Nile Technical Advisory Committee (Nile TAC).
