FAO Training Manual for International Water Courses/River Basins

We are pleased to announce the release of “FAO Training Manual for International Water Courses/River Basins including Law, Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Simulation Exercises”.

This manual was prepared for FAO by Richard Paisley of the University of British Colombia, Canada.

The development of this package was based on the experience of the Regional Negotiation Skills Training in Bujumbura, Burundi, organized by the project in February 2006 and facilitated by Dr. Paisley and his team.  The manaul incorporates the recommendations and feedback of the trainees and the evaluation of the Bujumbura event.
